Lessons take place every Wednesday afternoon at Beaumont Grange Farm in Lancaster. Transport to and from the lessons are by members who are able to drive in separate cars, or alternatively by taxis.
For the Michaelmas term lessons calendar visit the Lesson Timetable tab.
Every member has to be able to walk, trot and canter and will be put into groups for novices, intermediates and advanced riders – with opportunities to take part in some friendly dressage and show-jumping competitions.
The lessons cost £26 per person.
Full lesson price must be paid if you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson!
The club pays for the transport to get to the stables so you will just need to pay for your lesson and the £1 donation towards petrol.
There will be a maximum of six people in a lesson at any one time which enables each rider to get the most out of their lesson as there are often 2 instructors in the school throughout each lesson so that you can receive regular feedback throughout your lesson.
During lessons, riders will have the chance to work on a variety of areas, such as balance, position and overall technique.
You have to be a member to participate in lessons – see our membership page.
