Rachel Scales

Hey! My name is Rachel Scales and I’m your President and also the B Team Captain.

At home I have a 16hh ISH with which i do British Novice Eventing and still love going to Pony Club! hehe! I live in the middle of no-where in Nantich in Cheshire, and am in my first year studying Biology. I’m also in Grizedale College.

With being your President I want to make this year our best and arrange lots of fun horsey trips, so I hope you all come along to them and put your ideas forward to help us!!!!!!! xxxxxxxx

Theodora Hopkins

Hey! I’m Theo and I am attempting to be the social sec so any possible ideas for socials, just let me know.

I have my own little pony at home and sometimes get the opprtunity to compete at pony club and local level, though I am more involved at riding school level teaching children to ride.

Since coming to Lancaster I have also started to learn Karate (not sure why but thought it would be fun to try something new) which I have really enjoyed and am now  a orange belt, which I am really chuffed about.

Rachel Cox

Hey! I’m Rachel and am the webmaster for the club. Basically all that entails, is looking after the website, updating it with new information about anything you guys might want to know, and looking after the email account!

I’m in my first year at Lancaster and am in Cartmel College, loving every minute of it! I’m reading English Literature but still with a view to having a career in Law at some point. When I’m not here, I’ll be at home in dear Leeds, happily cuddling my little bunny rabbit! lol

I have ridden regularly at local riding schools, volunteering when I first started and then working there too, where I started doing some teaching for riders of various levels. As well as that, I have also been on various riding holidays where (although i love the horses at home!) I have been able to get experience riding a multitude of different horses. I absolutely love jumping and hacking!

 Hi! My name is Gwawr Davies and I’m the clubs Treasurer! I am also on the B Team.

I’m in my first year here at Lancaster and am reading Law! I’m in Bowland College and live on campus. When I’m not at Uni, I’m at home in North Wales!

I have a 16.3hh ID x Tb gelding at home called Clay. We enjoy Showjumping, schooling and hacking.

Hey all, my name is Laura and I’m your latest Health and Safety Officer. When not being responsible for all you lot, I’m a first year reading Law and I also live in town!

I’m currently on the B Team, so will be competing in Roses. Other than that I am afraid to report that I am your average uni student!

Bookings Officer

Sarah Vidler

Hello I’m Sarah the Bookings Officer. I’m in Furness college and I’m studying Spanish, Italian and European Studies. I’m a novice rider and I have private lessons at Greenbank every Wednesday, I love riding and horses. I’m just learning to canter now after I’ve finally been let loose off the lunge after Michelle’s drills on rising trot and scary canter movements. I’m actually starting to enjoy cantering now whereas at first it was a hold on for dear life job. I’m hoping to be able to jump by next year, but I’ll see how it goes! I hope to see some of you out and about, maybe in the lessons or on the trips. 

It’s great being able to chat to people who have the same interest, especially when you share your experiences. It’s all part of the fun, thats why I’m really glad to be part of the club!!!!!
